Yeah, I know I said TEL wouldn’t get posted on beMETAL anymore, but since I said in last week’s show that I’d post it here, I’m posting it here and on MIGR.

hey jim. good work on the podcast, it’s not one of the best, it is the best! plus, i think the intro is pretty badass (but i’m glad you shortened it). anyway, i noticed lots of people showing off their bands and whatnot and thought it would be sweet to have an episode featuring independent metal bands. a few of my friends are in some sweet bands that need more exposure, so i’ll just blatantly advertise them here and hope you put them on.

^these guys are hardcore, one of my friends is the guitarist/main writer. i think they have a unique enough style to get somewhere, and they’re fuckin’ badass live.

^the singer from this band is an old friend of mine. their drummer marco is currently touring with vital remains, thought since you like them you might be interested. check out “hyperion”

these guys share a drummer with inquest. they are all super-talented musicians but don’t know how to market themselves or gain exposure, so i’m sure they’d appreciate the help if a ton of metal podcast people heard about them. i don’t know how into prog-metal you are, but these guys are awesome musicians (at the moment the guitarist sings, but they’re looking for a new one).
anyway, thanks, and do an indie episode!

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. – Calvin Coolidge
